IIT-Mandi has initiated the registration process for short-term machine learning courses, and applicants are not required to submit JEE scores.

IIT Mandi is offering short-term certificate programs in machine learning and IoT-based automation. These programs are open to engineering students, as well as BCA, MCA, ITI, and polytechnic students, teachers, trainers, and working professionals. The courses are free of cost. The deadline to apply for these programs is January 12th, and the training will begin on January 15th. The Center for Continuing Education (CCE) at IIT Mandi, in collaboration with Himachal Pradesh Kaushal Vikas Nigam (HPKVN), is launching these training programs. The aim is to provide valuable skills and knowledge to participants, promoting their professional development and contributing to the overall advancement of education and vocational training in the region. The duration of each course is one month. The focus will be on soft skills, English speaking, interview preparation, personality development, group discussions, entrepreneurship skills, and startup support. For the machine learning program, students will learn mathematical foundations, python programming, statistical foundations, data visualization, and various applications. In the IoT-based automation training program, candidates will receive domain sessions on Python programming, android application development, web development, computer vision, and over 10 IoT projects. These sessions will provide both theoretical knowledge and practical skills directly applicable to the industry. By combining programming, application development, web development, and hands-on lab sessions, candidates will be prepared for a wide range of challenges in the IoT field.
